Great success had in the september 2009 Monaco Yacht Show the new maritime VSAT ISA75 distributed by SITMAR.

The ISA75 has recently officially gained the Eutelsat Standard-M characterization (http://www.eutelsat.com/satellites/pdf/Earth-Station-Vessels.pdf.), in which its only \"mates\" are Seatel and Orbit.
This fact is matter of real pride for all the people who\'ve spent most of their past 2 years working at this difficult project.

The ISA 75 project is born at the beginning of 2007 with the objective to go to notch up a market foreseen in great growth (broadband@sea), that saw and still sees two only major operators: the American Seatel and the Israeli Orbit.
These two maritime VSATs are (were) the only ones with which is possible provide Eutelsat airtime services.

The ISA 75 is the first maritime VSat who\'s concept departs from the Eutelsat technical specifications (Eutelsat EESS 502) for maritime stations and it\'s not, as many others including Seatel, a VSAT derived by a pre-existing television antenna.

The ISA 75 project proposed since the beginning to face the market with the strength of the following three main characteristics:
- To be smaller (75 cms of diameter)
- To be lighter (below 35 kg, radome included)
- To be more economic (about 25.000 euros to end users)

It\'s important also to consider that ISA75 is completely an Italian product and we believe this fact will simplify a lot the things in a market very focused on the production of this country.

Furthermore we are now developing on the same technological concept of the ISA75 the \"bigger sister\" ISA120, for deep sea uses, which we believe could be characterized by Eutelsat in the very next few months.
