The Performance Yachts 2010 range, which extends to 38 meters, includes the PY-90, PY-100, PY-109, PY-115 and the PY-125. The entire range features ‘up to the minute’ designs by the award winning team at Dixon Yacht Design headed by top international designer Bill Dixon.

Individual boats are finished to clients’ own detailed requirements and all the yachts in the PY range benefit from very comfortable environments in which to live, and excellent sailing performance in all conditions, from the lightest of Mediterranean airs to the heaviest winds of trans-ocean conditions.

The owner of a Performance Yachts boat will be aware that his yacht has been built and equipped from a very select group of suppliers. In order to prevent time delays and cost inflation, the yachts captain and engineer have direct access to the Performance Yachts key suppliers whose performance and quality is constantly monitored.

These elements concerning the purchase, build and early ownership of the yacht are only a part of the story however, as benefits of being a member of the Performance Yachts ‘Club’ accrue, all the way through ownership of the yacht; benefits like the highly attractive and very comprehensive insurance package, negotiated with a respected insurance company, charter marketing, yacht registration and management programmes, together with assistance with the provision of both permanent and ‘temporary’ regatta crew.

Built using the most advanced lightweight materials, we incorporate the latest state-of-the-art equipment throughout our range and with accommodation featuring customised décor by leading interior design specialists, no expense has been spared and no detail overlooked in the quest to provide the ultimate blend of performance, style and comfort. And yet because Performance Yachts has none of the high marketing and administrative overheads incurred by the larger production brands, and thanks also to exclusive arrangements with builders and suppliers, it is possible to deliver the PY range with state-of-the art equipment and the benefit of extended warranties and support at prices that reflect the true cost of building boats.

Performance Yachts enjoyed a spectacularly successful launch when, in its maiden race, the first Performance Yachts boat a PY-65 which was capable of passage making at 280 miles a day won the racing division of the trans-Atlantic ARC race, going on to follow this up with impressive performances in Antigua Race Week. She was featured in Boat International, October 2002 and Yachting World, March 2003.

Built primarily as a comfortable cruising yacht, with lifting keel and true super yacht proportioned interior, our latest launching is the Performance Yachts 100 which was built in New Zealand. With the hull and deck comprising of approximately 85% Carbon and other features, which include a high modulus Southern Spars carbon rig and PBO rigging, she is also likely to be successful on the worlds racing circuits.

Although of custom or semi custom build, all Performance Yachts will be branded as such, of great benefit to all owners when it comes to selling their yacht. Also of considerable value, each yacht will be designed and built to comply with the highest standards of construction enabling it to satisfy all charter requirements. Perhaps of no value to the first owner of a vessel until it comes to the time that it is sold on to someone who wants to charter – this highly valuable build standard could mean the difference between sale and no sale.
