Patrick Knowles Designs Contact: John Quinn Email: jq@haberandquinn.com 2009 ShowBoats International Award Winner for Best Refit is Inevitable 163-foot Feadship M/Y Inevitable with Interior Design by Patrick Knowles Earns Exclusive Industry Recognition with 2009 ShowBoats International Award for Best Refit FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (October 7, 2009) – Inevitable, a 163\' Feadship motoryacht rebuilt last year at the Feadship yard in Makkum, Netherlands, earned exclusive industry recognition in winning the 2009 ShowBoats International Award for Best Refit. The yacht features a timeless, elegant interior by Patrick Knowles Designs. “We’re all delighted that the owner, a longtime Patrick Knowles Designs client with a true passion for yachting, will have this award to recognize his vision for the rebuild of this classic Feadship yacht,” said Patrick Knowles. “We’re thrilled to have been part of it.” First built in 1990 and now virtually all new after the rebuild, Inevitable is truly a gentleman’s yacht. The new, traditionally styled interior is fitted with fairly light teak with raised panels and a satin finish that leaves the grain open. The main and upper salons have full-beam coffered overheads with upholstered ceilings, giving an inviting welcome to all who go aboard. Black granite is prominent on countertops creating a classy and dramatic effect, as well as in the flooring of the starboard-side entrance hallway, where it is framed in diamond-shape teak. The upper deck lounge has two separate areas – a bar and stools to one side, and comfortable seating and a coffee table opposite. A big screen on the forward bulkhead turns this lounge into a luxury cinema. On the sun deck, you’ll find a spa pool and a bar, which is shaded by a permanent awning.
